Cheesy Brocolli & Cauliflower

It’s no secret that brocolli and cauliflower don’t rank high on the ‘most-liked-vegetables‘ list. Even some adults can’t stomach them, but there surely isn’t anything cheese can’t fix.
I was the kid that ate brocolli and cauliflower with a smile because my mother had merged it with my weakness, CHEESE!
Get your family eating ALL the vegetables in no time!!
Ingredients:
Brocolli
Cauliflower
Flour (all purpose)
Milk
Butter
Chicken stock
Bacon bits
Black pepper
Parmesan
Cheddar Cheese
Salt
Black Pepper
Method.
1. Boil Cauliflower & Brocolli in Chicken Stock For 15 minutes. Spill out any water left once it’s cooked.
2. Make a Roux/White Sauce.
1. Melt butter in a pot.
2. Add flour gradually (while stirring) to the melted butter till it creates a dough-like.
3. Pour milk gradually (while stirring) into the dough-like, till it turns into a thick sauce.
3. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
4. Fry bacon bits and add them to the roux once done.
5. Add the cauliflower and brocolli to the roux. Stir well that it marries.
6. Put the mixed content into an oven bake tray and season with salt and pepper.
7. Sprinkle lots of Parmasen and cheddar ontop of the brocolli and cauliflower mixture. Be generous.
8. Place in your preheated oven for about 4minutes-Till cheese is golden brown.
9. Watch the kids ask for seconds.😀
